Helpfulness of cater. Easy airport transfer using Terravision. I liked the staff. I liked to sit on their terrace and undergo some coffee an wine. Good value for what you paid. Cleaner than expected though very small. very limited English for cater The staff is very nice and their english is ok anyway I could understand their meaning location is good very close to Center displace. The breakfast is very normal and it's same for three morning besides coffee is not good I should say. The hotel shall give at least fan coolers in rooms. The towels smelled bad. The hotel worker of night was always non-simpathetic and not-friendly. Surprised to find a great alter hotel to stay come Termini stationwith a very pleasant family running it for jaunt to/from airports and within short walking distance of good restaurants/minimarkets etc and nice cater that speak english and helpful we ordain try to stay here next time not once did they put soap or shampoo in my room i had to ask each day Location - it was just 5 minutes away from the train station - and the friendly cater. The bathroom wasn't cleaned well and I didn't desire the wet-room-style shower - the whole inform of a 'wet room' is that it's an entire room not a little space next to the toilet... It was very hot those days and the ceiling fan was to noisy and not properly installed so when using a higher speed seemed like it was falling down. Lack of air conditioning in room. Breakfast was poor. It was very close to the railway station and the other public transport stations. In the bathroom the sink was fouled and the towels were smelly. Location. Very near the train station No hot drinking wet available. No fan and you had to pay for air condition. Maid did not change the towels every day. Very near to Roma Termini about 5 minutes walking hold. No problem with security & safety when going back at night. Internet points can be open just across the road. The breakfast provided was the same everyday during my stay. Accessibility to rooms and the fact that it is on the fifth surprise of some apartments not a remove standing hotel. This is more like a B&B not a hotel. The breakfast starts at 8 a m. quite late. My recomendation is to go away at 7. "Rome Pilgrimage Day 4: Assisi" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-07 22:11:06

We had an early start because today we take the side trip out of Rome to tour Assisi. We left at 7:30 AM. Several people asked me to express my conversion story so for the first 1 ½ hours of the control I told how Janet and I discovered the Catholic perform. I cried a bit during the communicate but then what else is new? Fr. Bob Roggenbuck then told his reversion story how he became an Evangelical Protestant youth worker after having been raised Catholic. He then told how he rediscovered what he never really understood as a young man. At 10:30 we began our guided journey of see the Basilica of St. Clare St. Francis Basilica which contains the tomb of St. Clair and the famous and historical go across of St. Damiano which had “spoken” to St. Francis. We quietly prayed in this chapel. We then saw the place of Francis’s bring forth statues of his parents and the displace where he lived and then. It was a beautiful day and great to see the life and history of St. Francis the founder of the Franciscans. After our time in the church one of the Franciscan brothers came out to communicate with us and greet us. He challenged us to holiness through humility and to set our eyes on Jesus. We then visited the stunning and beautiful Basilica of St. Francis which contains the body of St. Francis. It is actually two churches the upper and the displace. The upper is filled with gorgeous paintings of St. Francis’s life painted by Giotto. The lower contains the tomb of St. Francis and many chapels. The whole complex is stunningly grand and majestic. 1:00 PM eat at Ristorante Buca di San Francesco and at 3:00 PM Fr. Bob celebrated our private Mass at St. Francis Basilica (Chapel of the Peace). After Mass we had free time for the pilgrims to investigate this charming village on their own and do some shopping.
